I hope that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. For visitors from other countries and do not know what that is can find the answer here.
This was my first time cooking a turkey, let alone my first time doing a whole thanksgiving. For as many things that went wrong, everything came out the best that it could. No matter the issue I didn’t waste the time sweating it. Taoist philosophy in practice. Things were what they were.
Today is Black Friday. My wife usually wakes us at 4 in the morning and fights through crowds in the store for the door buster deals. I think the Taoist thought of moderation and minimalism has slowly worked from me to here. It is 8:30 am and she is still in her pajamas and has not shopped online. Instead of the statement “I saved $250 on a TV. today!” We actually save $500 because it was never purchased. No matter the deal, unless we NEED it the money senselessly leaks,
Finally, today is also my birthday. I’ve been making the joke about being a walking carcass now hitting my mid 30’s. My mom asked me last night how I felt about that, I feel no different than the day before. Honestly, a birthday no longer seems like a big deal. Perhaps it is age or maybe the new philosophy. Human’s create day and time.
If things go well this blog will be back to normal starting tomorrow.

Whaddya mean "back to normal"? This was a good 'ol normal Taoist post. :)
I like to focus more on "not me" content. I suppose that showing action in my life is just as beneficial, though. I just find my life dull to read about.
I find your life no more exciting nor dull than the next person. Besides, it's good to illustrate how Taoist beliefs impact the way we live. Often, such examples will have a greater impact on readers than mere philosophizing. It provides concrete examples of what you're referencing.
