Moving but not making

If you really are your body, did you purposely make yourself as tall as you are? Can you will yourself taller? Will your DNA to self repair? You can't make your body do much other than move, are you really it?

Oh, so very interesting. We "make" our bodies do all sorts of things, including heal. At least we encourage them to heal. That is not to say we are our bodies. Now my brain is spinning. I've made it do so, I suppose. :)

Lately, I was wondering that having a body is just too troublesome, really. :D

I see each day here as a gift. I don’t recall anything previous of 2 years old. In death, most likely, this world will not be remembered. My kids and wife don’t see things the same as me, really they are all that make me want to stay. Everyday with them is a gift, of course I’m in decent health and things would probably be different otherwise.

We are definitely not our bodies.
Neither, though, are we our minds.
So what are we?
I suspect the frame of reference is irrelevant.
Is it really necessary to define what we are?
We are.
