Winter's Carpet

This is a post from 1yogi2many. Some of what he posts makes me take a minute to ponder. Winter's Carpet was one that especially hit me. Each day is a gift, slow down and smell the roses. Don't let the days pass you by, always stop to notice everything around you. Even the smallest things are wonderful. (Yes, the same cliches that are presented in chain mails. They matter.) I've changed the formating around a little so that the post wouldn't be just over a kilometer long, hopefully the author won't mind.

Summer came and Summer went,
Our Harvest was good,Less money was Spent.

But The seasons flow is never Ending,
Late this year, It seems I missed the leaves Descending.

Now Fall has come and Fall has gone,
How did I miss her autumnal Song?
The moment gently slipped away;Snow arrived Yesterday.

We've even had more Overnight,
Yes Everything has turned to White,

But the sun came out,
Brightening The Glistening Trees.
Ah, Such a Resplendent Sight . . .

. . . the temperature? It's gradually rising,
perhaps it's not too surprising . . .

Will the snow now Dissipate,
As is Normal,At a very rapid Rate?

. . . I pause, sit, and be;
silently walking through this snow bound reality . . .

Came DaylightsKnell,Again SnowFell.
And Winters Carpet?
Remains Mother Nature's Crystallized Shell.

I mind NOT!

I Thank you for 'methodically' promoting this poem on your own splendid blog. You obviously caught its true meaning, which is wonderful.

Once again, thank you Mr. Methodic :)
