Health Update

This is just an update to my current health status. I have lost 20 pounds over the last month. The endocrinologist’s goal for me was 14 pounds, which obviously has been exceeded, and my doctor’s goal is 40 pound (over a year), not there but half way. It is true that eating better and increasing activity just a little is enough make the weight start to fall off.

The Weight Watchers book has been thrown out the window. I was well below their point allotment everyday and caught on that it was a scam. After further research it turned out that only 2 in 1000 people on Weight Watchers actually lost weight and most weren’t overweight by much to begin with. This was confirmed over the weekend when I saw a couple for the first time in probably a year and a half. They are obese and for many years have been in Weight Watchers following the point system, they paid large sums of money for exercise classes and personal trainers at the local YMCA in hopes to lose weight. All this time later they really hadn’t lost anything noticeable. It was disappointing to see because I really hoped the best for them with their weight goals. The program has no value.

I quit using a personal trainer after a couple of weeks. He was given to me at no cost for 2 months so maybe it was a little silly, but after a few times through workouts I could easily do what was necessary on my own. The results actually are better without him. The gym is really hot in the summer although I can’t complain since the membership was given at no cost as well. On I plow.
Raising a glass of beer to toast the last 20 pounds. Maybe I can get back to discussing Tao soon.

I have recently discussed that unless and untill my weight causes some problem I'm not changing a thing with this voluptuous, womanly body. I love me. I am trying to become better at juggling three things at once, however.
Good luck making the changes you want to make. Sounds like it's all under control.
