Sages do not accumulate
The more they assist others, the more they possess
The more they give to others, the more they gain
As a person looks around their house or possibly even their office or cube, they decorate the space according to who they are and their personality. Their identity is reflected in the décor. How does this pertain to Tao? We have created an artificial world full of illusion which blocks out seeing the world as it truly is. In a way it is as though we are ignoring our true existence. Instead, in this artificial world our ego has taken over. Some people will recognize this and get out of the trap, others will remain with it. Only in realizing our true nature can we really be free.
